Soursop Tea

Is a native tree to the Amazon Rainforest and other tropical areas of the Americas. Soursop tea does not contain any caffeine. Therefore soursop tea is completely caffeine-free. There is good evidence that these long-used plants (Soursop) could have both chemopreventive and therapeutic potential. Often used to increase relaxation.

Preparation of Soursop Tea

Firstly you will need dried or dehydrated organic Soursop leafs. The Soursop fruit tree is normally managed while adding foliar (leaf) and soil fertilizer. Why is this relevant? Because if the fertilizer or the treatment is not organic you will be drinking that in your tea.. Secondly you will need to heat up some water until its boiling. Then you will add something like a spoon (2 -3 leafs) of the dried Soursop leafs which are most likely not in their leaf form but in smaller pieces.

Health benefits of the Soursop

Soursop contains more than 200 chemical compounds in its pulp, leaves, and stems that contribute to its many health benefits. It’s particularly rich in alkaloids, phenols, and acetogenins. The average soursop fruit is full of vitamins and minerals like magnesium, vitamin C, potassium, thiamine (or vitamin B1), calories, protein, carbohydrates, fiber and more.
